The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority organized a press conference to officially launch the “Hassantuk for Homes” campaign under the slogan: “Make the Response Faster than the Danger.” The event was held in collaboration with the Department of Municipalities and Transport, the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, and e& UAE (Etisalat), and was attended by representatives of various government entities and media outlets. The conference marked the announcement of the mandatory implementation of the “Hassantuk” system in all residential homes across Abu Dhabi. This strategic move aims to enhance home readiness and accelerate emergency response times, directly contributing to the protection of lives and the reduction of losses. The conference featured a comprehensive presentation of the campaign’s core pillars, including the official launch of the “Hassantuk Abu Dhabi” platform, which allows citizens and residents to register directly. The presentation also highlighted the system’s integration with new building permit regulations and clarified key provisions of the regulatory framework and administrative penalties for non-compliance. In his remarks, Lieutenant Colonel Eng. Hassan Ali Al Kaabi, Project Director of Hassantuk and Director of the Office of the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, emphasized that the campaign reflects Abu Dhabi’s strategic vision of shifting from response to prevention. He noted that the initiative establishes a smart, integrated system that reduces response times and enhances the efficiency of rapid intervention. He further added that the system serves as the first line of defence for protecting lives and property and demonstrates the leadership’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of community safety. He urged homeowners to register through the official platform and benefit from the available facilitation measures, reinforcing their essential role in safeguarding their families and communities. From his side, H.E. Qasim Al Hashimi, Executive Director of the Beneficiary Affairs Sector at the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, stated that the partnership with the Civil Defence Authority represents an effective model of government integration aimed at enhancing community safety and well-being. He noted that the Authority is expanding its programs to include preventive aspects by supporting the provision of the early warning system “Hassantuk” in the homes of beneficiary families. This initiative contributes to family stability and improves quality of life in Abu Dhabi, aligning with the "Year of the Community" and affirming the Authority’s commitment to national initiatives that promote sustainable social development and a safer future for all. Similarly, Eng. Hussein Al Harthi, Acting Director of the Building Regulations Department at the Department of Municipalities and Transport, affirmed that the “Hassantuk” system represents a qualitative leap in strengthening safety and prevention standards within the emirate’s building permit ecosystem. He emphasized the department’s efforts to integrate the system’s requirements into all planning and execution phases of residential buildings, ensuring proactive compliance from the earliest stages of construction. He added that this collaboration aligns with the Abu Dhabi government’s vision to build safer, more sustainable cities and to embed a culture of safety as a core element of comprehensive urban planning. Abdullah Ibrahim Al Ahmad, CEO of the Government and Large Enterprises Sector at e& UAE, also noted that the company is proud to support the “Hassantuk for Homes” initiative by leveraging its technological solutions and digital platforms to provide a smart, efficient early warning system that directly connects homes with centralized operations rooms.
